Seven component framework to this model 1. Building a cooperative learning environment 2. Analysis and critical reflection on themselves and social contexts 3. Generating competency profiles for themselves 4. Diagnosing learning needs 5. Formulating goals 6. Implementing and managing their learning 7. Reflecting and evaluating their learning This model is different from Knowles and other process models since it includes a critical perspective through the examination of social contexts that affects learning as well as developing personal and social goals Major goal of this model is to empower learners to use their learning to improve their conditions |
